The York T500 treadmill is an ideal starter treadmill which is compact in size and folds neatly away when required.

It has a maximum speed of 6.2 MPH (10 KPH)which makes it ideal for walking or light jogging.

The on board computer gives the user 5 different work out programs, with information about the run being displayed on 5 separate LCD displays.The computer allows for manual or callorie targeted programs.

Hand grip pulse sensors on the handle bars allow you to monitor your pulse while exercising, it also allows you to train in your targeted heart rate zone.

The york t500 treadmill has a 4 position manual incline which can be used to simulate hill running if required.

    • Summary

    The motor performed well on all test's, the only draw back we could find was the maximum speed of 10 K/H which will make this unsuitable for faster runners.

    The folding mechanism works well, and the belt runs smoothly on the wooden base. The belt could be a little longer at 47" long but it is more than adequate for most runners.

    The programs are very good, allowing you to target callories and heart rate values if required, we also found the 5 LCD screens to be very easy to read.

    On the whole this is a great value treadmill, it is very well built and looks good too.
