Congleton Harriers is Congleton Borough's oldest running club - they recently celebrated their 25th birthday. They aim to promote all forms of running whilst also acting as a meeting place for anyone interested in running. They currently have well over a hundred members of all ages, experience and abilities!  As their name suggests they run across all types of terrain, road, trail, cross-country and fell.

Cheadle Running Club The Club was formed in 1986 at South Moorlands Leisure Centre, Allen Street, Cheadle.They meet on Sundays at 9.00am and Wednesdays at 6.30pm and cater for runners of all abilities and ages. The club is noted for its friendly atmosphere. Members compete in local road races. the North Staffs Cross Country League and also fell races. The ladies' section has been particularly successful winning the North Staffs cross-country League in 1999,2001,2002.2003 and finishing as runners-up in 2000.

Hatton Darts Running Club  - Established 1990, Hatton Darts is a road, Track and X-country running club. Has a strong male and female team. The club caters for all abilities and puts the enjoyment in to running. The club competes in all local and regional races.

Lichfield Running Club _ They meet at King Edward VI Leisure Centre on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm and Sunday mornings at 9:00am.They meet either in the car park or just inside the centre, and also on a Monday at 7:00pm at Morrison's Car Park.
Several members also meet on a Saturday morning for a cross country training run through Hopwas Wood.
The club are currently in Division 4 of the Birmingham and District Cross Country League. We also take part in several Road Relays.

Stafford Harriers - A large club that meets regularly at either Rowley Park Track,  The MRI Club - St Leonards Avenue or Cannock Chase. They take part in many races both in the Uk and abroad and have some great results to show for their effort.

Trentham Running Club - Started out as a small “joggers club” in 1989 it has now grown to over 150 members and is the largest running club in the Potteries area. Trentham has a strong competitive heritage, with some of it's members competing at high levels. It still remains a friendly club where all members are valued equally whatever their ability or ambition.
